Photoshoot Plan/ideas
For my photoshoot I plan to use my friend Sarah as the model for my magazine, getting her to pose in
positions and angles holding a guitar, posing as a rock musician.
To pull off the look Im going to ask my friend klaudi to do Sarahs make-up as she specialises in doing
make-up and hair in college.
The make-up should be rock themed, therefore Im looking for a dark and nude shade of make-up that
emphasizes the facial features, yet not too much that it she looks like a shes posing for a gothic, heavy
metal magazine.
For inspiration I looked up some images to show my friend klaudi how Id like Sarahs make up to be done.

Lighting
Artificial lighting
The reason Im using artificial lighting it to create a spot light for my model
to stand out and highlight the features of her aspects and to brighten the
photo of her posing, so that it creates a dark and alternative atmosphere
surrounded by the black background.

Interested poses
Poses I`m thinking of using for the front cover image
For my front cover image I`m going to take a series of photos of my participant model from the
mid-section up, as well as take some close-ups of them looking directly at the camera holding a
guitar.

Here are some poses that Im going to have my model pose for, which will go towards my contents
page
I chose these poses because when they`re taken as a portrait they leave a good amount of space for
decoration, images and contents for the magazine.
