Click, click, click.

For many of us, this is a familiar sound. The typing on the keyboard and the
clicking of the mouse represent your daily encounters on your computer,
whether you are working on a project, communicating with your friends, interacting on social media, playing silly games or simply browsing around, killing
time. However, for the Internet entrepreneurs in the know, this is the beautiful
sound of financial freedom.
My name is Simon Leung, a fellow Internet entrepreneur. I am fortunate enough
to call Fabian Lim my good friend, mentor and trusted business partner. Let me
tell you, there is nothing like the freedom to schedule your own hours, make your
own money, and have the ability to travel anywhere in the world to enjoy life.
The road to living the lifestyle of your dreams may not be easy, and not everyone you know may understand or even support you. Many of my friends and
colleagues laughed at me when I took the leap of faith in 2006 to retire from
an extremely successful corporate career as Google Inc.s most senior advertising
department leader at their Headquarters in Mountain View, CA. They told me
I was setting myself up for failure and that they would not be surprised to see
me come crawling back to my employer. The joke was on them when, within my
first two weeks in business, I had already generated more revenue than an entire
months salary working at Google.
Fabian and I met online in 2006 through a mutual connection within our network
of entrepreneur friends, and we became instant buddies. I quickly realized why I
was able to replicate his success so easily. It turns out that Fabian is just as lazy as
I am! He breaks all the stereotypes about having to work hard, slave long hours
and build a big company with lots of employees to become a millionaire.

Fabian and his lazy yet successful lifestyle remained my inspiration as I launched
my own Internet business online and speaking business around the United
States. As I learned more and more from him, I was able to grow the success of
my businesses into unthinkable heights. When Fabian invited me to his premiere
Asia Internet Congress in 2007, my dream of becoming an International platform
speaker came true as I took a seminar stage outside of the United States for the
first time at the Singapore Expo.
Im sure you have heard of the phrase, work hard, play hard. Well, Fabian Lim is
nothing like this. While Fabian has his hobbies and enjoys a relaxing lifestyle, I
can honestly say that after spending so much time with Fabian, often for days,
weeks and even months at a time, very little of his schedule is devoted to actually
working. To his credit, when Fabian is working, he is very focused and productive.
Through the mobility of his business and flexibility of his time, Fabian can literally
whip out his iPad or smart phone at any time during the day no matter where he
is, and instantly be in business. Then, within a matter of minutes, he is often finished with his work and returns to planet Earth to enjoy the company of his family

A bout the A uthor

abian has been a serial entrepreneur all his life. His first foray into
entrepreneurship began at the age of sixteen, when he started his first
business: a mobile disco company called Pastels Remix. The highlight of this
business was when he won first prize in a local DJ competition two years later.
During university, he played the piano professionally to fund his school fees. His
first piano-lounge gig was at Changi Aiport in Singapore, where he was a resident
pianist at the Terminal 2 departure lounge for over a year. During his final year
in university, he became fascinated with the art of magic and began to hone his
skills in prestidigitation and conjuring, eventually turning his well-honed magic
skills into a business by performing magic at children parties, company functions,
and private events.
After graduating from university, Fabian joined Texas Instruments in Singapore
for a year before moving on to Deloitte Consulting. During the six years in Deloitte, Fabian rose quickly from an entry-level consultant to a manager. There, he
advised regional and global clients in the Energy, Tourism, Manufacturing, and
Public Sectors in the areas of strategic planning and development, business process re-engineering, and financial modeling and analysis. His clients included esteemed ones like the Ministry of Finance and Tourism in Maldives, SP Services in
Singapore, Tenaga Nasional Berhad in Malaysia, National Power Corporation in
the Philippines, and Guo Hua Power Corporation in China.
During his stint at Deloitte, Fabian picked up wedding videography as a hobby.
He transformed it into a business under the Fabian Lim Productions brand, after
leaving employment in 2002. While running his wedding videography business,
he started exploring Internet marketing. He eventually retired from the wedding
videography business in 2007 after his online income outgrew his video production income.

He went on to found Web Analytics Asia Pte Ltd, a specialist consultancy organization focused on marketing and implementing enterprise level web analytics
solutions to leading organizations in the Asian region.
In 2008, he founded ClickMedia Pte Ltd. As its founding director, his vision and
strong focus was to help organizations succeed online. In the area of online marketing, Fabian specializes in search engine marketing, search engine optimization, web analytics, usability analysis, and marketing automation. His online
marketing clients include multi-national companies, public sector organizations,
and top regional and local brands in the telecommunications, high technology,
education, and retail industries, such as Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Polytechnic, Estee Lauder, Asia Pacific Breweries, Bausch & Lomb, Fujitsu,
and LunchActually.
In 2011, ClickMedia was voted finalist in Marketing Magazines Digital Agency of
the Year.
ClickEvents.com.sg Pte Ltd, a company he founded in 2009, was recently recognized and awarded the Promising SME 500 and Singapore Brands awards in 2012.
Having personally trained over five thousand graduates in his popular Internet
marketing training programs in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam, Fabian has mastered the art of teaching complete and seasoned marketers alike
on how to start an online business from the comfort of their homes. In addition,
Fabian has helped countless people to work from home and achieve a consistent
$10,000/month income.
He is currently involved in two online startup ventures. The first, Prizle.com, a contest and giveaway portal received funding from the Singapore government in 2012.

Fabian earned a Bachelor of Business in Business Administration (Distinction)

ver wondered how is it possible to live the life of your dreams, to

be able to wake up anytime you want and to work anywhere you
want?

Well, thanks to the Internet, all this is possible and more!

The Internet has changed the way we live, work, and playin a manner far more
reaching than we can imagine. Today, computers and mobile phones have become commonplace devices: devices that afford us the level of mobility that was
once reserved for the truly wealthy.
I vividly remember back in 1987, when I had the privilege to play the Microsoft
flight simulator game on a Windows 486 computer and make a phone call on a
mobile phone. A friend of mine owned both tech toys at a cost of $10,000 each.
At that time, such devices were considered status symbols and only the wealthy
could afford them; however, the price of computers and mobile phones have,
through the years, come down steadily to the point that they no longer serve as
status symbols, but rather as true necessities.
The Internet Age has given rise to a new breed of self-styled entrepreneurs called
the New Rich: where mobility and lifestyle are inextricably interwoven both in the
offline world and the Internet. The New Rich live in an era where laptop computers and mobile phones are must-have devices, where Google is the new Yellow
Pages and Facebook is the new social channel.
For the past decade, I strived to live the New Rich lifestyleone of ultimate mobility and freedom. It certainly wasnt all rosy at the beginning, but things got
better as the years went by.

11:30 a.m. on a normal day and run my businesses from the comfort of my bedroom. Im able to take nine-week holidays if I choose to and travel in five-star luxury.

Lets start with the most powerful computer housed right between our ears: our
brain. All the brain needs is some reprogramming, with the right operating system to achieve the desired outcome.

Heres a quick trivia: What is the number of connections (including thoughts,
memories, things learned) that the average human brain has to make over a
lifetime?

You see, unlike a typical computer, your brain doesnt just process one bit of
information at a time. For instance, as youre reading this sentence, your brain is
simultaneously processing up to five million bits of information from just your
two eyes! Youre probably not conscious of it, but, right now, there is an amazing process going on where the photoelectric binary signals received by your
eyes are transformed into a vision of your surroundings in full 3D, color, depth,
and motion.
Whats even more incredible is the fact that all this is accomplished only by a
tiny portion of your brain. The simple truth of the matter is: Your brain is also

life. The game has changed. All you need to do is install the right software in the

people are running around like chickens whose heads had been cut off. I mean, it
really doesnt matter how much effort people put into trying to ignore these offers,
our human nature will eventually succumb to at least one such offer.
But why? Well, because we all have what Id like to call the dream. You know what
Im talking about? Being able to make lots of money without having to work for
it? Living in a luxurious mansion with a private pool? Having a fleet of flashy cars
and travelling first class all the time?

Even if you try to dismiss it as nonsense, the dream does, and will, find a way to
creep back into your life and the vicious cycle gets triggered once again.
And again.
And again.
Only to repeat itself after five, ten, ormaybe evenforty years!
Take a look at this diagram.

As you can see from the illustration above, the cycle just goes on and on for
years. So is it wrong to have the dream?
Well, simply put, no. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with desiring the finer and
better things in life. I personally dont think I deserve anything less than the best,
and neither should you.
So whats the real problem then? Its the means towards the end. Think of
success as an airplane and think of your mindset as the pilot of that airplane.
The airplane can very well be the fastest airplane in the world, but without the
pilot itll fly nowhere. Similarly, a car goes nowhere without its driver and a ship
goes nowhere without its captain; unfortunately, too many people focus on the
car and not on their driving skills.

In other words, its not the method, the strategy, or even the nature of the opportunity itself; its the person. Yes, you.

Growing up in a middle-class family made me fascinated with the concept of being rich. For the vast majority of us, the idea of being rich means living a life of
opulence with no stress or financial worries. So if one can become rich, one would
finally be able to live the life of their dreams.
Naturally, Id be filled with envy whenever I encountered rich people. Id ask myself questions like How did they become rich? What special abilities do they possess? Why is it that these rich people I know dont seem to be any smarter or more
skilful than I am? Most importantly, what is it that they know that I dont about
becoming rich?
This became a little obsession of mine. Because of that, I got my hands on virtually every resource I could find on the topic of how to get rich. I read books,
listened to audios, attended seminars, and jumped on any opportunity I could to
surround myself with rich people so that I could learn their secrets.
And heres what I discovered:
Becoming rich is really a choice: Its about setting a clear intention to becoming rich and taking the necessary steps to materialize that goal. Its that
simple. You want to be rich? Then just decide here and now that you will be.
Success leaves clues: Understand this: If getting rich is what you want,
then what you need to do is find the footprints and follow them. The truth
is, the footprints are there waiting for you to follow. But here lies the rub:
youll have to walk the trail. No one else can do it for you. No one can help
you or carry you across the finishing line. The universe doesnt play favorites. It doesnt matter if youre white, black, or yellow, and it doesnt matter
if youre a college grad or not. None of that matters. All that matters is your
desire to get on the bus.

We Dont Know What We Dont Know

We now live in the knowledge era where, with the right knowledge, you can
move mountains and create unlimited wealth. Thanks to the Internet and
increased mobility, the world has become a smaller place and knowledge has
become much more accessible. So the question remains: whats stopping us from
achieving our dreams and ambitions?
Depending on the topic and time of day, we can classify our realm of knowledge
into one of three states:
State #1 - We Know What We Know
This is known as the status quo. What we know got us to where we are; however,
where we are now is not where we want to be, right? So it serves to reason that
what we dont know, rather than what we do know, is actually the missing road
map we need to guide us to our desired destination.
State #2 - We Dont Know What We Dont Know
If we dont seek out the missing road map, we may never end up at our desired
destination; however, if we do wish to seek out the missing road map, what are
our options? Trial and error? More often than not, the trial and error path is costly,
time consuming, and frustrating!
How about friends, co-workers, or family members? The question you have to ask
yourself is this: who among them are qualified to offer you sound advice which is
not based on opinion, but rather on experience, i.e., been there, done that?
After all, one cannot guide you to a destination he or she has not been to before.
Fortunately, a simple solution exists. If you need a solution to a problem, simply
find an expert and get qualified guidance. Need to repair the AC? Go find an
AC-repair expert. Need to learn to create wealth? Go find a successful wealthcreation expert. Need to start a profitable business? Go find a successful business
owner.

This is definitely the worst state to be in! Because when we are in this state, we
are literally blinded by the little knowledge we possess that we end up in a state
of denial.

I know how to select the right properties to invest!
Business is easy; I graduated from business school!
Have you ever heard of the phrase A little learning is a dangerous thing? This
saying dates back to the 18th century and is widely attributed to Alexander Pope.
Well, a modern day translation sounds like this: We think we know it, when the
truth is we actually dont!
The logic is that if what we knew really worked, dont you think we should have
arrived at our destination by now? Be warned. Dont hang out too long in this
state. Seriously. Find out what you really want to achieve then find the expert and
acquire the missing road map so you can progress in the right direction.
So, if your goal is to become rich, find someone who is already rich and just follow
them. Find out how they think. Study what they do. Ask them questions. Eventually, youll be able to plow your own path with your own unique style and traits
and specificities.
The point is: Do what rich people do. If you are not rich yet, thats because you are
not thinking the way rich people think and not doing what rich people do.
If you want your life to be different, youll have to take a different set of actions
from here on. It doesnt really matter what business, industry, or niche you are in.
The same rules apply. The footprints are the same. You just need to know what
they are and follow them.

Awaken The Entrepreneur Within!

Before things change, you need to change.
Huh, whats wrong with me?
Look. I am not saying you need to change your morals, ethics, religion, sex, or
anything like that. What I am referring to is to change the way you normally think.
In order to get into the zone, you need to have the right mindset.
You see, what Ive discovered over the years is that having the right mindset is
akin to possessing the Midas Touch. If you have the right mindset, you can be
virtually assured of success in everything you do; where everything you touch
will turn to gold.
The major obstacle in acquiring this mindset, very much like a giant brick wall, is,
well, the past. It is the past that prevents people from moving forward, taking action, getting serious, making things happen, and changing things.
The problem is that most people subconsciously quit before even beginning.
Youre probably not aware of it, but with time were conditioned not to take action. Forget shooting for the stars, getting rich, and rising above the pack. Why
suffer failure, ridicule, and embarrassment?
Our family, education, and society as a whole tell us that its far safer to just do
what everyone else is doing and stay average.
So what is one supposed to do? Simple. It all boils down to one thing. The one
thing that has the highest potential to change everything: to decide.

DECIDE to Be Rich!
Understand that most people arent rich simply because they are not willing to go
through this journey of ups and downs and embrace risk and failure.
Many are not willing to pay the price, work hard, give up silly addictions, or develop themselves. Theyve resigned themselves to live near-broke, boring, and

average lives. Average people dont read books like this. They dont strive to become rich. They dont even think its remotely possible. Theyd rather be playing
video games or watching late-night TV.
Most would never consider working towards a better future. Why bother? Its far
easier to just not change. In short, the real reason why 97% of the population will
never become rich is because they arent willing to do what the remaining 3% do.
Ask yourself which percentage group you belong to and be honest with yourself.
What if you truly desire to be amongst the 3%? What is the best first step that you
need to take? Well, that first step is to simply decide on becoming rich!
As Ralph Waldo Emerson puts it so succinctly, Once you make a decision, the
Universe conspires to make it happen. A decision signifies a commitment. A commitment requires a plan. Executing a plan requires action. Action leads to results.
Results equal change. And change draws you closer to riches.

The Perfect Business and the Perfect Lifestyle?

Heres an interesting story. During one of my entrepreneurship workshops, I asked
those in the audience who own their own businesses to raise their hands. Virtually everyone did. But heres the odd thing. When I asked those who think they
have a perfect business to keep their hands up, they all put their hands down.
Every one of them.
The truth is, I wasnt surprised. Hows that for a revelation? Naturally, I then
followed up with the most logical question: So what then in your opinion epitomizes the perfect business?
Here were some responses:
1. The perfect business allows you to make as much money as you want
without sacrificing time for your personal life.
2. The perfect business provides security and creates wealth for current and
future generations.
3. The perfect business brings you passive income.

The truth is, one persons definition of a perfect business might be anothers of a
miserable business. Totally subjective. Therefore, I asked them why they believe
they dont have a perfect business.
One person said that since none of them really knew what their definition
of a perfect business was, there was no way they could have one. How true!
I mean, for the sake of discussion, lets take this to a higher level and expand
things to a broader vision of life in general, as opposed to focusing only on a
business.
Now if I were to ask you whether you live the perfect life, what would your response be? Think about it. Do you know what your definition of a perfect life is?
Have you ever thought about it, on a conscious level? (Keep in mind that I obviously understand that with the exception of God, probably nothing can ever be
perfect. What I mean by perfect is the next closest thing to it.)
Anyhow, lets talk about your life and it being maybe less than perfect, whatever
that means to you. The truth is, based on my observation, the key reason why
most people dont get anywhere near to the perfect life is because they simply
dont know what the perfect life looks like!
If you have an inkling as to how the brain works, youll understand that you have
to see your new life in your minds eye by replaying the mental movie over and
over in your brain. Once a clear intention is set and consistently viscerally imprinted into the subconscious mind, perceptions and behaviors find and produce the
desired results.
The thing is, you must visualize what your life looks like in crisp, precise detail and
watch yourself in that movie. Only then can you bypass willpower or the traditional goal achievement stuff and draw closer to your goal as quickly as possible,
without having to overcome enormous obstacles and struggles!
Clearly, most people have no high-definition movie to play and watch in their
minds, even though they sincerely hope, wish, desire, and pray for a better life.
But you and I know that hope is not a cure. Simply hoping for things to get better
or for you to become richer doesnt change a thing.

Ill say this again: if you have no specific, clear-cut, unshakable vision of what
better or rich means, and therefore cannot turn it into a mental movie to watch
in your minds theatre over and over again, youll never be able to manifest it in
your life!
Understand this: The truth is, your subconscious mind cannot distinguish between reality and synthetic experience. And if you play out your fantasy with
great clarity and specificity in your mind often enough, your mind becomes conditioned into thinking youve already been there, done that. It will then allow you
to skip the struggle and get right to the thing youve fantasized about!
So, how can you draw closer to a life you might describe as perfect? Well, first
things first. You have to systematically list down what a perfect lifeas you define itwould contain.
Next, use the items on this list to direct a virtual movie with you as the star;
the story should contain all the things on your list appearing in the movie. Now,
replay this movie in your mind over and over again, taking advantage of every
chance you can get.
Replay it when youre at work, while in the shower, or while youre just plain
goofing off.
I guarantee this works because Ive personally done it and still practice it daily.
Regardless of the current state of affairs, good or tough times, Im always
replaying the movie of my perfect life as frequently as possible. And you know
what? Granted that things dont always turn out a hundred percent the way I picture them to be; however, they do turn out pretty darn close, which is more than
what most people can say.
THOUGHT is the only power which can produce tangible
riches from the Formless Substance. The stuff from which
all things are made is a substance which thinks, and a
thought of form in this substance produces the form.

You might want to ponder on this statement a little. I have a little exercise that I
want you to do now. No, not later. Now!
Dont procrastinate and sit on it, or say youll do it when you have the time, or
make up any other excuse why youre not doing it. Remember that your excuses
may feel good to you, but they will never allow you to get a new life!
So instead of thinking or talking about it, why not push all distractions aside and
do it right now?
Step #1: Identify your perfect life in great detail.
Step #2: Write down the list of things that your perfect life would comprise of.
(For example, no more commuting to work, no boss, no employees, only working from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., sleeping until noon every day, living in a five-bedroom
house with deluxe dcor, owning a huge home-office complete with a private
beach, shopping with your wife at a high-end mall twice a week, donating
$10,000 a month to the Childrens Society, earning a monthly income of $100,000
after taxes, driving a brand-new BMW 7 series, and so on.)
Step #3: Picture what each item would look like if you were an outside observer,
watching yourself living or performing the items on your perfect-lifestyle list. See
and envision each thing in great detail as if you were in a movie and others were
watching that movie of you.
Step #4: Constantly see the movie of your perfect life in your minds eye or in, as
Dr. Maltz (author of Psycho Cybernetics) calls it, the Theatre Of Your Mind over and
over again.
Its actually daydreaming with a specific purpose.
See the movie while youre waiting for the traffic light to turn green, while in the
bathroom, while lying in bed before you go to sleep, while in bed before getting up, while cooking dinner, while sitting in your doctors offices waiting room,
while at a hated day job, and so on.

Step #5: You must reprogram your subconscious mind: the self-image control
thats in there. Only a repeated daydream with a mental movie of a perfect life
can and will change your subconscious minds self-image control automatically
in only a couple of weeks or so.
Step #6: Your subconscious mind cannot distinguish between reality and fantasy.
So mental movies force your self-image to think the fantasies are reality; as if they
had already happened.
Step #7: Once your self-image has changed, and thinks your daydreams are reality, the self-image control gets switched to a new one. This new self-image takes
over and guides your conscious mind to take necessary actions in creating the
new reality your self-image tells you that you are.
Theres no need for willpower because once you reprogram your subconscious
mind to change your self-image control, your conscious mind will be guided automatically to the perfect fantasy that will soon become your reality.

Why Does It Work?

Because creating movies of what we visualize enters directly into our subconscious as what has actually been seen by us. The truth is, our mind cannot
distinguish between fantasy and reality. We have actually seen the image we
created; thus, we create the reality we want on the inside first by creating
new neural pathways and cells of recognition. Its as the saying goes, Seeing
is believing.
We believe what our eyes see. This is true for your minds eye as well. As you
create an image on the screen of your mind, your brain believes that its happening and that its real.
Spaced repetition of the visions causes the neuron patterns to strengthen,
thereby causing the image to become more real. Your mind then begins to believe it actually happened or is now happening. Subconsciously, its an event
that has actually taken place.

Here are some examples in my life:
a. Owning a multi-million dollar condo in downtown Singapore.
b. Driving a BMW 7 series.
c. Working with nothing more than my laptop, my cellphone, and, sometimes,
my iPad.
d. Wearing jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts, whenever Im working or not.
e. Taking deluxe vacations once a quarter.
f. Flying in first and business class comfort and staying in five-star hotels.
g. Owning and flying on my own airplane for work and pleasure.
Does this stuff work? Heck yeah!

A thought, in this substance, produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.

In this chapter, youll learn the new rules of success that Ive uncovered in my
journey as an Internet entrepreneur.
Important: Whilst one can arguably become a successful entrepreneur without
actually having achieved much financial success, this chapter assumes that financial success is a key component of successful entrepreneurship.
To this end, author Wallace Wattles, in the book, The Science Of Getting Rich, puts
it aptly: If getting rich is the result of doing things in a Certain Way, and if Like
Causes always produce Like Effects, then any man or woman who can do things
in that way can become rich, and the whole matter is brought within the domain
of exact science.

There is a Science of getting rich, and it is an exact science, like Algebra or

Arithmetic.
There are certain laws which govern the process of acquiring riches; once
these laws are learned and obeyed by any man, he will get rich with mathematical certainty.
The ownership of money and property comes as a result of doing things
in a certain way; those who do things in this Certain Way, whether on
purpose or accidentally, get rich; while those who do not do things in
this Certain Way, no matter how hard they work or how able they are,
remain poor.
It is a natural law that Like Causes always produce Like Effects. Therefore,
any man or woman who learns to do things in this certain way will infallibly
get rich.

That the above statement is true is shown by the following facts:
Getting rich is not a matter of environment, for, if it were, all the people in
certain neighborhoods would become wealthy; the people of one city would
all be rich, while those of other towns would all be poor; or the inhabitants of
one state would roll in wealth, while those of an adjoining state would be in
poverty.
But everywhere, we see rich and poor living side by side, in the same environment, and often engaged in the same vocations.
When two men are in the same locality, and in the same business, and one gets
rich while the other remains poor, it shows that getting rich is not, primarily, a
matter of environment.
Some environments may be more favorable than others, but when two men
in the same business are in the same neighborhood, and one gets rich while
the other fails, it indicates that getting rich is the result of doing things in a
Certain Way.
Furthermore, the ability to do things in this certain way is not due solely to
the possession of talent, for many people who have great talent remain poor,
while others who have very little talent get rich.
Studying the people who have got rich, we find that they are an average lot in
all respects, having no greater talents and abilities than other people.
It is evident that they do not get rich because they possess talents and abilities that other people dont have, but because they happen to do things in a
Certain Way.
Getting rich is not the result of saving, or being thrifty. In fact, there are many
thrifty people who are still poor, while free spenders often get rich.
Getting rich is also not about doing things which others fail to do; for two men
in the same business often do almost exactly the same things, and one gets
rich while the other remains poor or becomes bankrupt.
From all these scenarios, we can conclude that getting rich is the result of
doing things in a Certain Way.

You see, if theres one thing Ive discovered about success in the Internet Age,
its the fact that success is often counter-intuitive and is often achieved through
uncommon ways and methods. In other words, many of the stuff that I thought
would work out usually end up bombing big time, and the stuff that I thought
shouldnt work out end up helping me succeed in a spectacular fashion!
Dont use common sense to start a business, especially if it was based on
advice given by well-intentioned but ill-qualified friends, family members, and
co-workers. For example, one of the most common modern-day entrepreneur
disasters has to be the caf business concept. A caf business qualifies as a logical and common sense business idea, since people are bound to eat and drink
several times a day.
I have lost count on the number of people I know who tried to start a caf but
ended up losing as much as $250,000 in the process, while the more successful
ones ended up breaking even at best.
So what went wrong?
For one, if you think that starting a caf is a profitable business idea, you probably
do not know anyone whos actually in the caf business because, if you did, Im
pretty sure any caf owner would caution you to think twice about starting one.
In fact, Im sure there are many caf owners who will be happy to have you take
over their entire business!
You have to think and act differently in order to outsmart and outmaneuver your
competition. Dare to be different. Dare to take the road less traveled!
With this important context in mind, let us now explore New Rule #1.

Being a successful entrepreneur requires a large dose of uncommon sense.
Developing that uncommon sense requires uncommon thinking. Uncommon
thinking simply means thinking differently from the masses. Why? Because the

In ancient times, most people held the belief that the earth was flat and God
forbid that you should make it to the end because youd fall off. People were
trapped. They were constricted to a world that reached out only as far as they
could see; a world that wasnt representative of its actual size. People were stuck
not because they were lazy or backward. It was simply because they had blind
belief. They believed in something that wasnt proven and they fiercely held on

you consciously choose to adopt. I personally recommend adopting beliefs that
will serve to bring you closer to your goals and dropping those beliefs that serve
to block your path to success.
Frankly, its hard to decipher what is real. Our perception of the world is based
on our personal beliefs. As we journey through life, we come to the realization
that the majority of what we learned as we were growing up is not only false,
