Advisory Committee Meeting
Meeting Minutes

Welcome and Call to Order

Those in attendance were Kent Howard, Dr. Alicia Brown, Anna Sullivan,
Sherry Moore, Eric Housch, Anne Rapp, Barry Adcock, and Lisa Whisler.

Current Business
Mr. Howard and Dr. Brown provided an update on AHC and AMS Business
Developments and FBLA. School has just started and there are students still
signing up daily. The cut-off is the end of September. Mr. Howard is over
FBLA and Dr. Brown is over the Work Based Learning Program.
Mr. Howard made a video that will be played during advisement to recruit
member to FBLA.
Dr. Brown provided the advisory committee an update on the WBL Program
and described the purpose, design, and intent.

Advisory Committee Members

The advisory committee completed a round of introduction for the new
members.
A list of advisory council members was provided.

New Business
FBLA students will be serving at the Yanmar family picnic on September 20 th.
Students are required to complete community service hours. FBLA and WBL
Program are looking for opportunities to serve.
Dr. Brown and Mr. Howard also welcomed our involvement in the classroom.
If you have interest in presenting to the students, contact them for details
and dates.
