Detailed Itinerary
Day1 : Cochin arrival - Athirappally ( 50 kms / 1 hour drive ) 03 December 2016
Arrival at Cochin airport, meet and assist by our representative. Later drive to Athirappally.
Visit Athirappally waterfalls. Evening leisure at Hotel.. A tranquil and much needed escape
from the troubles and stress of life. Let the soothing sounds take you to some of natures most
relaxing places - the beautiful waterfalls of Athirampally and Vazhachal (Prounced as
vaazhachaal). Overnight at Athirappally.

Day2 : Athirappaly - Thattekad 04 December 2016

After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Thattekad. Upon arrival at Thattekad,
Check in at Hornbill camp. Thattekkad located on the banks of the Periyar River is a very
scenic plave. Rest of the day is free for local sightseeing . You can also undertake boating,
Cycling ,Plantation Visit. Later return back to Camp & Overnight stay at resort.

Day3 : Thattekad - Munnar 05 December 2016

Today after breakfast check out and drive to Munnar. On arrival check in at the resort. Day
at leisure and overnight stay in Munnar

Day4 : Munnar Sightseeing 06 December 2016

Morning after Breakfast proceed for the sightseeing. Destinations includes eravikulam
national park(Raja Malai), mattupetty dam, eco point, photo point, honey bee tree, kundale
dam Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day5 : Munnar - Thekkady ( 4 hours drive ) 07 December 2016
HIGHLIGHT of Thekkady: Boat Ride in Lake Periyar and visit to Periyar sanctuary -the best
sanctuary in India for watching and photographing elephants at close quarters. Morning after
breakfast, drive to Thekkady (130 Kms/4Hrs). Arrival and check in to the hotel. Rest of the
day will be free for enjoying the natural wonders of Thekkady. Later enjoy the boat ride at the
Lake Periyar where one can have a unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters
from the safety of a boat on the lake. The greatest attraction of Periyar, however are the

herds of wild elephants that come down to play in the lake. (Subject to sighting). Overnight in
Thekkady.

Day6 : Thekkady - Kovalam (255 Kms 6Hrs) 08 December 2016

After Breakfast proceed to Kovalam. upon arrival transfer to Resort and Afternoon leisure at
beach and resort. Overnight in Kovalam.

Day7 : Kovalam Trivandrum - Kanyakumari ( 90 kms / 2 hours drive ) 09

December 2016
Morning after breakfast check out from Kovalam proceed to Trivandrum City visit Trivandrum
Zoo and then proceeds to Kanyakumari, upon arrival transfer to Resort and Afternoon leisure
at beach and resort. Overnight in Kanyakumari. Local sightseeing places Vivekananda rock,
Gandhi Memmorial, beach.
Note : Vivekanada Rock boat transfers is till 4pm only So you have reach Kanyakumari
afternoon itself

Day8 : Kanyakumari - Alleppey 10 December 2016 (275 Kms / 5 hrs)

Note : Houseboat Check in time is 12:00 noon . So you have to check out from Kanyakumari
hotel at 7 am
In the Morning, after breakfast drive to Alleppey, HIGHLIGHT of the Day: A unique experience
of backwater in Kerala where you will witness the scenic beauty of backwaters along with a
chance to peep into the rural life especially the Fisher folks. Today afternoon you will embark
the houseboat and check into an exclusive deluxe houseboat. Cruise down centuries old
backwaters flanked by picture book towns and ancient trading ports on our houseboats`Kettuvallams`. See the sunset on the scenic backwaters of the Vembanad lake and the green
rice fields of Kuttanad. Relish exotic traditional cuisines (e.g Kootu a vegetable dish with
grated coconut) prepared by our expert chefs. Gently drift off to sleep as the cool breezes of
the backwaters soothe you.Overnight in houseboat.

Day9 : Alleppey - Cochin drop ( 120 kms/ 2 hours drive ) 11 December 2016
Morning after breakfast check out from House boat, drive to Cochin and if time permits
proceed for a half day tour of Cochin City. The major attractions of the city are the
Mattancherry Dutch Palace, The Jewish Synagogue, The Santa Cruz Cathedral, and Marine
Drive. Evening drop at Airport or Railway station.

Houseboat cruising time will be from 12:30 - 05:00 pm and 08:00 am to 09:00 am.
