Summary:

in glass, such as windows and (drinking) glasses.
Health Hazards:
If in direct contact, it can cause irritated skin. As it is a silicon, inhaling of the mineral over time
will cause lung cancer. Silicon dioxide also must be limited in food, and in balance with all other

Citric acid is an acid that occurs naturally in citrus fruits. Its used in many things as a binding
agent. In food, it is also used as flavoring, especially in drinks. Since its from citrus, it can be
used as a substitute to lemon juice.
Health Hazards:
Frequent consumption and in large amounts may lead to the erosion of tooth enamel. Inhaling
of citric acid in its powder form may also cause a burning in the throat.
