1. Created more than 90 works with various companies all over the world including the
Birmingham Royal Ballet, the National Ballet of Japan, and Joffrey Ballet
2. Artistic director and founder of Jessica Lang Dance
3. Upcoming works commissions include Pacific Northwest Ballet, American Ballet
Theatre, and choreography for the San Francisco Operas production of Aida

2. Started when Lang received a Joyce Theater Artist Residency

performed Scape at the Kennedy Center to music played live by violinist
Leila Josefowicz with the National Symphony Orchestra

Target Audience:
A. Our target audience for this PSA are families.

PSA (Recording):
A. A 2002 report by the Arts Education Partnership revealed that schoolchildren exposed to
drama, music, and dance are often more proficient at reading, writing, and math. This is
the opportunity to give your children the exposure they deserve. Jessica Lang Dance
shows that the body has no limits, while providing a thought-provoking experience for
you and your family. On Thursday, February 9th at 7:30pm at the Brooks Center for the
Performing Arts, you can come see an inspiring show that will resonate in your familys
memory for years to come.
