ABSTRAK

Kajian tindakan ini dijalankan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan memahami kosa kata arahan
mudah bahasa Inggeris dan kebolehan memberi arahan mudah bahasa Inggeris dalam
kalangan empat orang murid prasekolah lelaki di Prasekolah Indah melalui penggunaan Kit
Vidampet. Kit ini terdiri daripada kaedah tayangan video, penggunaan boneka dan
permainan dam interaktif. Kaedah yang digunakan untuk mengumpul data dalam kajian ini
ialah pemerhatian, temubual dan analisis dokumen hasil kerja murid. Dapatan kajian
membuktikan bahawa penggunaan Kit Vidampet ini menunjukkan peningkatan terhadap
penguasaan kosa kata dan kebolehan memberi arahan mudah bahasa Inggeris bagi peserta
kajian. Penambahbaikan yang boleh dilakukan ialah penambahan bilangan kosa kata
arahan mudah bahasa Inggeris dalam Kit Vidampet di masa akan datang.

ABSTRACT

This action research has been conducted to enchance learners skills in understanding and
giving simple English instruction among four boys of pre-school learners at Indah Preschool
through the use of Vidampet Kit. This study were conducted to answer two questions in this
research that is to enchance learners skills in understanding simple English instruction and
enhancing learners skills in giving simple English intsruction using Vidampet Kit. This
Vidampet Kit involves the method of showing video, puppets and dice interactive game. This
study employed observation, interview and learners written work as data collection
instruments. The result proved that the use of Vidampet Kit were able to enchance learners
skills in understanding and giving simple English instruction among participants.The
improvement that can be done to this Vidampet Kit is adding more vocabularies for simple
English instruction in the future.
