          Dear Hiring Committee:

In regard to the forklift driver position you have posted on _____________, I am very
interested in the opportunity. Perhaps after reading this letter and enclosed resume, you will
agree we have mutual beneficial reason to meet. My credentials include:
·         11+ years in Warehouse/Manufacturing setting.
·         O.S.H.A. compliance forklift certification and daily inspection checklist experience.
·         Conscientious go-getter who is highly organized, dedicated, and committed to
professionalism.
·         Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision.
·         Productive worker with solid work ethic who exerts optimal effort in successfully
completing tasks.
·         Bilingual English / Spanish

Customer service is and always will be priority. But most importantly safety, safety is always
first. While employed with National Gypsum Company for approximately 10.5 years I received
numerous annual safety awards for being accident free. My annual reviews were pretty good
as well. Unfortunately the Plant was closed down and only a hand full of supervisors was able to
relocate to the more modern or up to date Apollo Beach Plant.

The Forklift Driver position sounds like an outstanding opportunity, and I would welcome the
chance for an interview to discuss your needs and outline my strengths in person. You may
reach me at (813)932-2407.
Thank you for your time and consideration of my resume, and I look forward to speaking with
you.

Sincerely,

Rafael Garcia
