Green Screen Camtasia Studio

1) Open the material (image, video, PowerPoint, Prezi, etc.) you intend to
use as your background and Maximize the content window.

a. To setup a PowerPoint:
i. Go to Slide Show and select Set Up Slide Show

ii. Select Browse by an individual (window) and click OK


to apply changes

iii. Click the Maximize icon to enlarge content window to full


screen

iv. The black clicker will advance your slides during the
recording

2) Open Camtasia from the dock

3) Open a New Project

4) Click Record

5) To setup your recording:


a. Select Color LCD

b. Select ConferenceCam CC3000e Camera

Logitech remote, position the camera so that the green screen

completely fills the background and you have the camera angled
in a direction you like.

Select Built-in Microphone. For presentations


with sound elements, select System Audio

Record when ready

7) When finished, click the Red Recording Icon from the upper taskbar
and select the desired action.

8) The recording will produce two tracks. The top is your video and the
bottom is your content.

Select both tracks
Position playhead at desired time of split

like to remove and press Delete
f. Select remaining tracks and reposition them so tracks begin
at 0:00 and are continuous along the timeline

To apply the Green Screen Effect:


a. Select the top track (video of you)
b. Select Video FX - Remove a Color and then drag this to the
top track

c. Select the Color Picker and click the green background around
you. Use the Tolerance and Softness sliders to make
adjustments accordingly.

d. Click the video of you to enlarge, shrink, or reposition as needed

To export:
a. Click Share and Export

b. Rename the file as desired and Export
