(i) Individual Assignment for Reflective Learning Log all the samples of good reflective essay
had been posted on learning2.uum.edu.my. You have to write this reflective learning essay in
English only. You have to hand in 1 reflective essay on Week 5 & 1 reflective essay on Week 10
(hand in hard copy during the session and send soft copy to my email
kharkheng@uum.edu.my).
Format Times New Roman, 12, 1 spacing. Word count = 1000 words
2. Three Quizzes (15%)
B. Group Assignments (3-4 people per group) English/BM
1. Business plan
25% consists of:
(i) Business Proposal Presentation
(W3)
(ii) Final BP 20%

(iii) BP Presentation 5%

2. Systematic Inventive Thinking (SIT) (the same person in your Business Plan group) (W6)
(i) Innovative Product /Service Proposal based on what you have learned in Chapter 3 prepare a
proposal on 1 product or 1 service that you will modify based on the concepts of subtraction or
multiplication or unification or attribute dependency. Your proposal (10%) (English/BM) should
contain the following items:
(a) Product pictures /service pictures
(b) Diagram
(c) Description of the operating system of the product or for the service (standard operating
procedure)
(d) How it functions?
(e) Unique selling proposition (USP) product, price, place and promotion
