The Class is Ours

Just because I am the teacher
does not mean that I am the only
one in the classroom. The
classroom is ours collectively and
will be treated appropriately. Our
classroom goal will always be to
create a learning community filled
with unique individuals. Each of
you has something special to
contribute to our classroom
learning environment and I
expect you to do so! Few rules
and high expectations.

Focusing on Standards
As your teacher it is my responsibility to make
sure we meet all of the ISTE standards
throughout the academic year. We will work
towards meeting these standards throughout the
full year, but I will highlight a few key standards.
1. Facilitate and inspire
student learning and creativity
2. Engage in professional growth and
leadership
These two standards will be particularly
highlighted throughout the year to ensure that
we are have the most academically successful
year. These standards most closely identify with
our class goals.
