Welcome parents and students to the 3rd

grade! My name is Miss Kellander, I will be
your students teacher for the 2014-2015
school year. I am so excited to meet all our
your students. But before the year starts I
just wanted to take this opportunity to
introduce myself and tell you a little bit
about what I have planned for the year!

A Little Bit About Me

I am more than excited to get to meet you and
your students, but before I do that, I thought
Id tell you a little bit about myself. I grew up
and attended college in Grand Rapids,
Michigan. My hobbies include kayaking,
paddle boarding, baking, and traveling. I also
love animals and I have a dog whose name
Moxie.

My Educational Background
I graduated from Cornerstone University in
2017. I majored in Elementary Education and
minored in Math and Science.

Why I love teaching

Teaching has always been my passion. I
love working with elementary students
because they are very energetic and they
get excited about learning. I want to help
kids learn and help them discover that they
are capable of learning and doing anything.

Belief on Students
I believe that every student is capable of
learning. There is no limit on what a student
is able to learn. I hope to create an
environment within my classroom where
there are no boundaries for education. I want
to provide my students with the knowledge
and materials necessary to accomplish their
goals.
