Plot: There will not be a very clear plot for this music video, instead I plan
to make this music video more of a performance video.
Characters: There will be the one main character in the music video,
Lorde but may feature a few other people in one or two of the locations
Locations: There will be 6 different locations; street, house, forest,
alleyways, abandoned building, subways/underpass.
Effects: None
Costumes & Props: There will be 6 different outfits, meaning one for
each location. Thinking of classy, high end clothing.
Issues / Theme: Indie Pop
Sound: There will be no diegetic sounds featured in the music video, it
will just be the soundtrack being played.
Target Audience: 16-25, female primary, secondary Older males 1821.

Plot: This plot will focus on society and their expectations of young
women and will revolve around conformity. During the song the main star
will break out of this conformity and pressure and find themselves as an
individual.
Characters: Lorde Main Star, another person shouting at the main star,
Locations: Forest, house, alleyways, underpass Very indie locations
Effects: There will not be any special effects
Costumes & Props: Tiara, Smart wear masculine almost. (E.g. White
Shirt, Black Trousers.) Nothing that is overly sexual. As
Issues / Theme: Conformity, Society, Individuality,
Sound: There will be no diegetic sounds featured in this video. Only the
song will play. There may be a slight pause in the music to add emphasis
but not sure if that will work.
Target Audience: 16-25 females as they will understand the meaning
behind the lyrics. 18-21 males as any younger or older would not see the
point in the video because it wont be sexualised. (Typical male audience)
