Title of Artifact: Service Hours
Standard: Standard Ten: Professional Development- Teachers shall participate as active,
responsible members of the professional community, engaging in a wide range of reflective
practices, pursuing opportunities to grow professionally and establishing collegial relationships
to enhance the teaching and learning process. (New Jersey Board of Education, 2016).

I am placing my Service Hours under Standard Ten,Professional Development, as evidence of

my continued mastery. These completed hours shows that I am continuing in the direction to
participate as an active and responsible member of the professional community. Through the
submission of my hours I was able to volunteer my time and take the opportunity to grow
professionally and establish relationships with my cooperating teacher, principal and other
teacher candidates that participated along with me. As a result of my time in the field, Im
enhancing my learning experience on my journey to becoming a teacher.
