FLEMINGS HAND RULES

To understand Flemings Hand Rule, first you must understand the
relationship between electricity and magnetism.
Electricity is known as, a form of energy resulting from the
existence of charged particles (such as electrons or protons),
either statically as an accumulation of charge or dynamically as a
current.
Magnetism is known as, a physical phenomenon produced by the
motion of electric charge, resulting in attractive and repulsive
forces between objects.
The relationship between the two is that magnetic fields are
produced by the flow of electrons in the same direction to create
a magnetic field. Moving charges, also known as a current, and
those moving charges are affected by magnets. This creates that
electromagnetic relationship.

Flemings Right Hand RuleThe right hand rule is also known as the Generator Rule. This determines the
direction of the induced electromagnetic force (EMF) of a conductor moving
in a magnetic field.
The thumb, index finger, and 3rd digit (middle finger), are held so they are at
a right angle to each other.

The thumb is pointed in the direction of the motion of the conductor, the
index finger points in the direction of the magnetic field, and the 3rd digit
pointing in the direction of the induced EMF in the conductor.

Flemings Left Hand RuleThe left hand rule is also known as the Motor Rule. The left hand rule
determines the direction of a force on a current carrying conductor in a
magnetic field.
Like the right hand rule, the thumb, index finger, and third digit are at right
angles to each other.
The index finger points in the direction of the magnetic field. The 3rd digit
pointing in the direction of the current in the wire, and the thumb points in
the direction of the force on the conductor.
