Notebook #10

An Anode Cooling Chart is used to calculate the time it takes for the anode to cool
enough for additional exposures to be taken.
SAMPLE PROBLEM:
What is the maximum exposure time at 120kVp and 350mA?

A Radiographic Tube Cooling Chart is a guide regarding the most common technical
factor combination that can be used without overloading the tube. You ideally want
to make sure that the kVp setting and the time of the exposure intersect below the
mA reading.
SAMPLE PROBLEM:
You set the kVp to 80 and exposure time to 0.3 seconds and the mA to 400mA. Is
the settings safe for the x-ray tube?
