What I bring to the table is Diversity. Even though I am pursuing a coaching job, my passion still remains in
the classroom. After working at Greenways Intermediate and observing different teaching techniques and
mentoring from a variety of teachers, I have developed a teaching method that is dynamic yet effective. My
goal as a teacher is to make a positive impact on all my students whether it is academic or involves life skills.
The most impactful skill I carry with me into the teaching profession is keeping a level head. I take pride in
being proactive instead of reactive towards situations that arise. I gained this skill from working with kids with
emotional disturbances. Along with trust and reliability, the most important skill I have is a driven and
passionate work ethic. I believe that if something is going to be done halfhearted, it is a waste of time. I put
myself into everything I do in life wholeheartedly. I will bring this with me to the classroom with every
student that enters my door or steps on the field alongside me.
