To create understanding of the role of NGOs and their contribution to the
society
To understand NGOs functioning as a social venture and identify several
aspects pertaining to effective functioning of NGOs

Guidelines for the Winter Internship

The winter internship guidelines are framed to help you understand what needs to be
done once you begin with your winter internship. The duration of winter internship will
be between 1st November to 15 November, 2016
Please study following aspects relating to the respective NGO:
1. The objectives of the NGO
2. Its positioning or area of its activities
3. Functioning, activities or mode of operating
4. Funding model of the NGO
5. Impact generated by the NGO on its several stakeholders
6. Perform value chain analysis and SWOT analysis of the NGO
7. Issues and challenges faced by the NGO
8. Participation in any one of their activities
9. Learnings
10. Suggestions & Recommendations for further improvements
