    LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION
    TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

    I am pleased to recommend Vishavjit Singh for the Masters Program in your university. I have
    taught him Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems(CIMS). I have known Vishavjit Singh
    for the past two years. During this time I have had interactions with Vishavjit on an academic
    and personal level. What struck me instantly was his commitment to the work
    and desire to achieve excellence in whatever he undertakes.
    Vishavjit has been an active participant in classroom discussions and has excelled in this subject.
    He is well focused with a keen interest in the practical application of the subject. He is able to
    interrelate the subject being taught in class with its applications. Hence, his knowledge of the
    subjects of CIMS is extremely thorough.
    Under my guidance, Vishavjit worked on various projects. The first one was SAEINDIA SUPRA
    2015. SUPRA is an annual event organized by SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers), in which
    teams require to design and build a rear engine four wheeler formula based race car. They
    bagged 20th overall rank out of 110 teams. He also participated in a human-powered vehicle
    project in which, students made a human powered vehicle that competed in the American
    Society of Mechanical Engineerings (ASME) event, Human Powered Vehicle Challenge
    (HPVC) event. Team bagged 6th rank in endurance race of this event with overall 13 th rank out of
    36 teams.
    Apart from these projects, Vishavjit participated in inter- university competitions as well. He
    secured 2nd position in the Technical quiz in college Fest and also secured 1 st position in C
    language competition in 2013. Currently he is a core-member of SAE collegiate club.
    I strongly recommend his candidature for Mechanical Engineering in your highly esteemed
    institution. His well-rounded personality and paramount learning ethics will make him an asset to
    your organization.
