Central Park Picnic and Sports Fun

Amy Day

LAST Saturday, the Social

and Sports Committees
joined together to plan a day
out in Central Park for all the
eager-eyed interns. Saturday
came with the sun a-shining
and it was time to kick back,
enjoy the park and play a little
footy while we were at it.

About sixty interns showed

up. A great turnout. And
although many struggled to
spot the two blue balloons,
rather than the anticipated

found each other. With so
many new faces it was diffi-
cult to chat with everyone.

Indeed this is one of the

greatest things about working
at the UN. The opportunity to
meet people from every part
of the world is fantastic.
