Rationale or Project
Description The generation of today is undeniably reliant to the fast pacing
technological innovation. Whether you are old or young there are an
array of gadgets for you. The youth specifically is the one who can
be hooked easily to these things, there is a study conducted by
global research agency Synovate which they found an outcome that
says the Filipino youth are somehow inseparable to their gadgets.
They considered it as an essential already, 1 out 4 of them said they
can’t live without it. This means that the children of today prefers to
hold and stare at their gadgets rather than playing outside like a
normal kid should do. Some children tend to forget the essence of
being a child, which is socializing and interacting with others.
This project will bring back the glory days of Filipino games by
teaching it to the next generation as the games are not only meant
for fun, but it has a variety of values to tell. Moreover, it promotes
sense of nationalism, encompasses appreciation of our culture and
most importantly it calls for unity.
