What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

I feel that TimeInc would be most suitable to publish my magazine because it has published over
60 media brands some which are similar to mine. I think TimeInk would be most likely to distribute
my magazine because it is a large well known publisher. I believe TimeInc would give my
magazine the opportunity to gain credibility amongst magazines similar to it. NME is a magazine
published by them, which is another reason I think they would distribute my magazine because it is
similar to NME in the fact that they both focus on Indie and Alternative music, which shows there is
a market for my magazine. Anther reason I feel TimeInc would distribute my magazine is because
their target market are predominantly female; two thirds of their readers are female. Which I think
will benefit my magazine because it may be seen as more appealing and relatable to females. I
plan to only distribute my magazine in the UK alone as I feel the contents will only be relatable and
suitable to UK readers, for this reason I also feel TimeInc is appropriate because at the present
time they only distribute the the UK.
