Ranger Class

The Ranger is a pet class, meaning the Ranger will have a pet Companion by
his side. The type of Companion is chosen at the beginning of the game and
cannot be changed for the duration of the game. This Companion follows all
standard rules of Player Characters in terms of movement and damage.
Companions will only obey its Ranger, and occupy a space adjacent to its
Ranger when idle.

Pet Companion
During each turn, a Ranger has a total of three actions. One must be used for the
Ranger, one for the pet, and the third can be used on either Ranger or the pet. Only
1 attack can be made by both Ranger and pet in any one turn. This means 1 attack
from ranger and 1 attack from pet for a total of 2 possible attacks per turn.
Pet actions are as follows:
-Move
-Standard Attack ~or~
-Special Attack as described on their appropriate cards
When giving a pet a Move command, the pets final intended space to move to must
be in LOS of the Ranger.
Each pet can only be given one attack command per turn. The pet will attempt to
follow its original target (if possible) if it moves, up to the Pets movement speed. If
the original target is not valid or not in range anymore, the companion will return to
its Ranger moving by taking the safest route at its movement speed.

Ranger Class Spells


Rangers may cast one spell or make one attack each turn, not both. The Ranger may,
however, move and cast a spell each turn or Command a Companion to do one action and
cast a spell each turn.

Minor Heal Companion

Spell Points: 2
Range: 8
Duration of Effect: Instant
Description: The target Companion is healed 1D6 of HP.

Major Heal Companion

Spell Points: 4
Range: 8
Duration of Effect: Instant
Description: The target Companion is healed of 2D6 of HP.

Cleanse Impurities

Spell Points: 3
Range: 1 Companion in square adjacent to Ranger
Duration of Effect: Instant
Description: The target Companion is immediately cured of any poison, disease, and Curse.

Revive Companion
Spell Points: 12
Range: 1 Companion adjacent to the Ranger
Duration of Effect: Instant
Description: Revives only the Rangers dead companion back to life. Companion is revived at 2 HP.
