As a committed and highly motivated professional in the computer science area, with
work experience as a software developer and database administrator on service and
production industries as well as education and scientific institutions (e.g. Universidad Catolica
de Valparaiso and La Silla Paranal Observatory), I am very interested in the Remedy
Developer / Consultant position which was published in the ArList group of Remedy Users

Teamwork skills and Experience

Having worked most of the time as a software developer and database administrator
since before finishing university education, I have participated with other experts in every
development stage of each project I've been involved, delivering products on time for
professors and students in academic ambit and financial analysts in private in companies. My
experience, both during meetings and under pressure situations, gave me the opportunity to
use communication skills in order to develop excellent relationships and contribute to improve
work environment with the other team members and most important, with the customer.

Technical skills
A broad range of experience in UNIX/Linux platforms, databases and some scientific
software. Extensive experience and knowledge of UNIX/Linux shells such as bash, sh, etc.
Experience generating and maintaining documentation for software development projects.
As the software developer described above, I was able to: analyse, design, improve
and maintain solutions, using database management systems such as ASE, ASA and IQ
(Sybase); Oracle, MySql and PostGreSql (Linux). Proficient in software development with
PowerBuilder, PowerDynamo, Perl, Python, Tcl, C and other opensource tools on Windows
and Linux/UNIX platforms. Basic knowledge of CORBA specifications.
Extensive experience developing BMC Remedy Action Request system applications
as well as administration of BMC ITSM solutions.
