Different Devices Use In Measuring:

Volume
Measuring cups
A measuring cup or measuring jug is a kitchen utensil used primarily to measure the volume of liquid or bulk
solid cooking ingredients such as flour and sugar, especially for volumes from about 50 mL (2 fl oz) upwards.

Graduated Cylinder
A graduated cylinder is one instrument used to measure volume. Graduated cylinders are available in several sizes.
The user reads the volume from the bottom of the meniscus, the curve at the surface of the liquid.

Pipette
A pipette (sometimes spelled pipet) is a laboratory tool commonly used in chemistry, biology and medicine to
transport a measured volume of liquid, often as a media dispenser.

Burette
A burette (also buret) is a device used in analytical chemistry for the dispensing of variable, measured amounts of
a chemical solution. A volumetric burette delivers measured volumes of liquid. Piston burettes are similar to
syringes, but with precision bore and plunger.

Temperature
Thermomether
An instrument for measuring and indicating temperature, typically one consisting of a narrow, hermetically sealed
glass tube marked with graduations and having at one end a bulb containing mercury or alcohol that expands and

contracts in the tube with heating and cooling.
