TRAINING ON APPLICATION AND PRINCIPLES OF PROTECTION DEVELOPMENTS IN RELAYS
AND DIGITAL SUBSTATIONS
Training is Power. A better understanding of Objectives
fundamentals of Power System Protection and
technology associated enhances your knowhow and
capabilities.
Allow participants to understand the key principles of HV
and EHV
The program will give the participants a clear
understanding of protection philosophies, operating
principles of protection relays, technological advancements
and recent trends in power system protection.
Upon completion of this course, the participant shall be
a) Able to appreciate the needs of various protection in
power system network.
b) Reinforce their technical knowledge in the field of
protection.
c) Have updated knowhow on understanding of protection
principles, technological developments in the industry
and improve their employability skills etc.
Course Topics
The course topics are split into two levels for
ease of understanding of protection systems.
Level - | shall include the following
} Introduction to Basic Protection Philosophy
>» Feeder Protection
> Transformer Protection
® Distance Protection
> Introduction to Digital Substation
Level - 1! shall deal with the following topics
