Each region ryion presents a sample of their cultural heritage jeritash
through dances that perform to the sound of music and songs their own,
wearing tipical dresses from their respective villages Vlayes. The most
significant example is perhaps the plume dance, which is considered
consder one of the most representative dances of the entire state.
This folk dance is performed by men with large colorful penachos, also
very heavy. Penachos are decorated with small mirrors, and in some
cases, with religious images. IMAGEN 2
Each region has its own band. Of course, live music is played throughout
the evnt. Most are wind bands and play their pieces while the dancers
present the best of their regin IMAGEN 3
When they finished, each group distributes dstribiuts among the public
its "Guelaguetza" composed by objects characteristic of their respective
regions.
COMPETITION
There is a contest where women from each region participate. In this
contest does not seek to reward the beauty or the talent of the
participants, but knowledge of the following topics:
Gastronomy
Ethnicity
Crafts
Traditional holidays
Customs and legends
Id like to go because is a fantastic oportunity to know a Little more of
our traditions and keep it alive.
