Past history and Present Health:

M.D.C was an abandoned child found by the barangay officials of
Dasmarinas and transferred toBahay Kalinga in the same municipality.
M.D.C was observable and can indentify easily as a mentally challenge
individual. M.D.C was transferred from Bahay Kalinga to Virlanie
foundation and endorsed by the Social Worker named Deana Suzara on
October 19, 2009 and was granted a Foundling Certificate. Mac Mac
was assessed and found that M.D.C was on good health and a little
underweight. Also checked by mental specialists and was diagnosed that
he has Moderate Autism. M.D.C was showing resistance, isolation, and
hesitation on his first 2 years in Virlanie Foundation.
Today M.D.C is functional as the house parent stated that hes
always to be reminded to take a bath and brush his teeth, observable as
in good health, nutrition and hygiene. Hes 52 ft tall, and weights 110 lbs
with no physical deformities. He has good gross and motor skills with no
bizarre motor activity. M.D.C was a non-verbal individual, He can
respond when calling, and can moan when in pain. M.D.C is on constant
blunt affect when alone, and able to smile when accompanied and when
doing activities. As we see on his developmental profile it is indicated
that M.D.C is as 4 years old in adaptive skills, 6-7 years old in gross
motor skills, 4 years old in fine motor skills, 18 months in receptive
language, expressive language 10 months, and also 2-4 years in
personal social skills. He is able to do write letter E only and can follow
blue to blue line rule in writing. He demonstrated excellent coloring skills
on a complex figures. Also He can write his nickname EmEm. During
an interview he catches good eye contact but cant sustain for 15 secs
span of attention and easy to distract with noises.
His interpersonal relationships and attitudes towards to people, it
is reported that he has a friend named jumong also a mentally
challenged, they were separated when M.D.C transferred to the Virlanie.
As the House parents said that M.D.C loves to be with Adrien also a
mentally challenged roommate. Also house parents claims that EmEm is
a Chill and relaxed member of the house. M.D.C enjoys little things
hes always seen in events and parties. Patient M.D.C feels so happy
with a smile when receiving awards and achievements.
