Protocol for JEEP Completion

Below are the guidelines for JEEP Completion. Students who will merit an INC for JEEP will
be given a 0 grade in the JEEP component of his/her Philosophy class.

Classroom Orientation (CO)


o CO is negotiable: Students who will miss the CO will be accommodated as
long as they reach the cut-off for enlistment
o The statement below will be written in the attendance sheets during CO:

will merit an INC for JEEP, which is tied to my Philosophy class. Full

Enlistment Period
o Cut-off will be implemented on the last day of submission of AISIS schedule,
which will be on February 14.
o Those who will submit or go to OSCI on Feb. 15 onwards will not be
accommodated and will merit and INC for JEEP.
If the student was sick and unable to go to school during that time:
Student may ask someone to inform OSCI about his/her
condition and submit his/her AISIS on his/her behalf.
Student may also be allowed to submit his/her AISIS via email.

Integration Session (IS) and Area Orientation (AO)


o IS is negotiable as long as student will have his IS before Area Engagements
o For this semester, there may be instances where the AO can go before the IS.
o Those who miss the last chance for make-up AO will not be accommodated.
Note that some areas do not offer make-up AO.
Exceptions will be given for students who have valid reasons as long
they procure necessary documents i.e. medical certificate, letter from
parents (for deceased) etc.

No Show students
o Student enlisted or assigned to a particular JEEP area who does not respond
to any means of communication (email, text, through beadle, philo prof, etc.).
Proof will be procured by the formator.
o For students who will show up during the AO (even if they missed the CO and
IS) will still be accommodated and will be given make-up sessions. They need
to provide pertinent documents.

Area Engagement (AE)


o Students must complete 16 hours for JEEP.
o A buffer week will be allotted to make-up for missed AE. For those who
missed more than one AE, the approach will be on a case to case basis
depending on the reason/s for absence.
Valid reasons:
Emergency in the family, medical, etc.
Invalid reasons:
Waking up late, submitting of documents late, wrong uniform,
etc.

JEEP Requirements:
o Students are required to submit the following documents on March 6-8:
Accomplished student profile sheet with 2x2 colored picture
Signed Guardians Reply Slip
Medical Certificate
Bio-data (if applicable)
o Students with incomplete documents will not be allowed to start with their
AE.
o Those who will submit their JEEP documents late will be penalized. But,
students who do not submit at all will not be accommodated and therefore
merit an INC.

Social Analysis
o Students with no SA and/or will fail to submit an SA alternative paper will
merit an INC.
o For students that will be asked to submit an SA paper will be given a week to
accomplish their paper. The deadline for all paper will be on May 7. Those
who will submit beyond that will not be accommodated and will merit an
INC.

Other Instances that will merit an INC:


o Failure to submit quality outputs for the areas.
