Please note the 4:00 end time for all practices now.
All February practices are for ALL band members. The dates that are in
bold type are for ALL band members.
All March and April practices marked with ** are for the extracurricular band events
that are by invitation only for select band members. One of the pre-requisites is that
you have earned your Red Belt in karate. In addition you must be in good behavior
standing at Creekside in order to represent the band and school in this extra events. A
list of students who qualify for both LGPE and the District 3 Beginner Band Festival
will be published before the February 27th practice. Feb. 27th is the first practice for
LGPE participants only.

February 10 8:00 AM Band Picture day: Wear khaki pants/black band shirt
and have your instrument at school for the picture.

**February 27 for those selected for LGPE only from 3:00-4:00
**February 28 Time: TBAwe will perform a dress rehearsal for LGPE this
evening at the HCHS auditorium. More details to follow. Students will go
home and then meet me at the HS at the time announced very soon.

**March 17: LGPE at Harris Co. HS Auditorium
9:10 AM Performance, free for parents to attend.
March 23: Concert for all members 6:00 GYM at Creekside

April
**April 11: District 3 Beginner Band Festival @ Aaron Cohn MS.
This is for select members only, you will receive an invitation
based on your outstanding performance in band, in addition to
your character and how you would represent Creekside Band in
this event. There is a $5.00 fee for this event, see the invitation for details
and submit it by March 3rd to Mrs. Roberts in order to participate.
