SPAGHETTI DINNER 2017

MEETING NOTES Sept. 22, 2016

General review of 2016 event. It was noted that the Scrantons will not
be donating the $1000.00 they did last year so this fundraiser is
important.
This years event will be at the Boys & Girls Club on January 22 nd from
2:00 9:00
Service is from 4:30 7:00pm

Sponsors
Discussion reviewed ideas and the following options were decided;
Student/Family $5.00 / $10.00 / $25.00
Business/Family $50.00 / $100.00 / $250.00

It is hoped that introducing Student Packets will help everyone support

the event.
Debbie will prepare Sponsor Packets and email to committee
Jessica will be overseeing this as part of her Senior Project.
It was also determined that anyone wanting to receive funding for
DCon from Kiwanis SS or Key Club will be responsible for getting at
least one student sponsor and volunteer at the fundraisers.
Entertainment
Paolo will check into getting a Jazz Combo
This will not be done through the school music program so that funds
can be allocated as needed. Last year $130.00 was given to the band.

Supply / Raffle Donations

Grace will oversee this section Debbie will resend supply list to
committee

Volunteers
The same schedule as last year should work, except we might need a
few extra for set up, the room might not be set up for us as there is a
group in ahead of us.
We have a smaller kitchen and room this year but still large enough.

Tickets
Prices will remain the same
Adults $8.00 Kids up to 12 $ 5.00 2 and under free
$10.00 at the door

Our goal this year is 200 tickets, last year only 81 tickets were sold and
since they can wait and buy them in December & January it shouldnt
be a problem, but having an approximate number in advance would
help keep expenses down. Tickets are sold at the door but we dont
plan a ton of extra.
We will also do WILL CALL, so if you sell and dont have tickets just get
a name.
It was also recommended that if selling in December that you get an
email so a reminder can be sent out.
