Awards this year was the concern + the
LECTURE
FACULTY
scope of creativity unlike other events that
happen all round the year in the category of
FIRST FLOOR PLAN GROUND FLOOR PLAN Architecture. I feel Birla White Yuva Ratna
Awards communicated the issue of the failing
needs of the Indian crafts in our society, The
theme made us feel truly responsible. The
site was quite large in scale and therefore the
scope of exploration was very vast too. For
young minds like us, This award is one event
that gives us the opportunity to work like
professionals and even grow like one.
This entry was selected for its simple yet strong
and clear concept placed very appropriately in the
given landscape. The design demonstrates a very
interesting interpretation of the design brief and
appears to make the built-in form as an important
feature of the craft itself.
The jury was very appreciative of the well placed
and thought out design modules along the river
front, thus creating an interesting interface between
the solid mass of the buildings and the water as a
natural element.
