I am writing to apply for the Utrecht summer school, as I am
interested in public international law.
My experience concerning public international law began with the
research project on bilateral investment treaty as it is one of instruments of public international law. A bilateral investment treaty (BIT) itself is an agreement establishing the terms and conditions for private investment by nationals and companies of one state in another state.
I have always been interested in law as my aunt was a judge. I have
already studied law for 3,5 years at the Universitas Gadjah Mada. The Utrecht summer school offers the exact educational programme I am interested in. I like the fact that the programme offers not only the law theory, but also the case study on ongoing issues in practical sense, by learning the point of view by other nationals. In my opinion, it is the best way how to get extensive knowledge.
As to my personality, I am very sociable I love meeting new people
and also getting to know new cultures. I am also fond of learning languages, so I would love to perfect my English and also to learn Dutch. Thus, I am looking forward to getting to know the Netherlands more thoroughly than I do now.
Studying in the Netherlands will be a great opportunity because
Dutch educational system has very high standards of education. I would be fortunate to study law in the Netherlands, legal resources for many country, which is international city of peace, justice and security.
