!.What is the purpose of doing this project?

A. In conventional punching operations a lot time is taken for marking, job setting &
punching operation due to this production cost increases but with auto roll punching
machine all the time taken for it is reduced and manufacturing is fast and product cost
decreases.
2..what are the mechanisms using in it?
A.. two mechanisms- reciprocating mechanism and Geneva mechanism
RECIPROCATING MECHANISM: Reciprocating motion, also called
reciprocation, is a repetitive up-and-down or back-and-forth linear motion.
A crank can be used to convert circular motion into reciprocating motion, or
conversely turn reciprocating motion into circular motion.
GENEVA MECHANISM: Geneva mechanism is commonly used indexing

mechanism where an intermittent motion is required.

3.Why you use Geneva mechanism only why not other mechanism?
A. As Geneva mechanism needs less maintainance and it punches the sheet in interval
of time. It is cheap and best.
4.Why you are doing this projcect?
A. As we r interested in designing we r doing this project in order to increase the scale
of production
