WHAT DID THE PROGRAM INTEND TO DO?
The program intend to teach the men and women of America how to live
independently, thus, increasing their self esteem.

Intended to promote environmental conservation and to build good citizens

through vigorous, disciplined outdoor labor.

Trained the worker, they just earned only $1 a day but received free board and
free training job.
Was the Program a Success
The program did end up to being a success in terms of restoration of aimed
areas.

The CCC was involved with over half of the restoration done throughout the
nations history.

The restoration process was made up laborious activities such as planting

trees in barren lands, digging canals and ditches, building wildlife shelters,
stocking rivers with fishes and cleaning beaches along with the campgrounds
they lived on.

The program failed to give an equal opportunity to work as anyone else and
only reached 10% participation out of the whole program.
Does the program still exist today?

The Civilian Conservation Corps ended in the year 1942, due to World War Two
and the drafts during that time.

We believe it should still be around today because the (CCC) helped limit the
great depression by providing jobs for the unemployed.
