Environmental Policy

Activity 1

1. Determine the most dominant environmental problem(s) in your community and propose proper
way(s) in solving that problem based on your own perspective.

2. List at least 5 significant ways of how you’re LGU or the people in your area helps the
environment and state how you contributed to the development our environment.

- Bugang Malumpati River is famous for its clear and prestine waters. To help protect
the river and ensure its sustainability, an Action Planning Workshop was recently
conducted by the EMB for the Pandan Recreational Waters. The other local project is
Peace on Trees Project is a youth-led project designed to promote for the awareness of
the importance of recycling waste paper products. And lastly the Mangrove
Reforestation Project located in Mag-aba, Pandan, Antique the project of ATO to
continue its ecological development and sustainability .
The contribution I can give for the development of our environment by actively
participating in programmes related in environmental purposes and promoting the
plantation in our surrounding areas.

3. What do you think will happen if these environmental problems are being disregard by human
beings?

- Nature works simultaneously with humans and humans work simultaneously with nature to produce an
ongoing output and input of life on earth. Humans cannot survive without nature. Nature simply provides
the air we need but people ignore the simplicity of nature even when it is a fundamental asset to our
everyday life. Imagine destroying our nature, the possible cause is deaths. Being detached from something
aunthentic as nature leads us nowhere! The world is a better place when humans makes concious efforts
to preserve nature.
