descending concert C, F, Bb, Eb, Ab, Db, G, D, A, and E major scales and a chromatic
scale in eighth notes with M.M. quarter note = 100.
HII.11 The student will demonstrate and describe ensemble skills at an intermediate
level, including: 1. Balancing and blending instrumental timbres; 2. Making
adjustments to facilitate correct intonation; 3. Matching dynamic levels and playing
style.

All major scales

Objectives/Goals:
Student will be able to perform C, G, D, A, E, B, F#, Db, Ab, Eb, Bb, and F major scales
in an ensemble setting at 90 bpm. Student will be able to recognize and adjust tuning
errors in repertoire.

Closing:
Put away Chromebooks, pack up instruments, put away chairs and stands

Assessment:
Informal assessment of ensemble performance of major scales at 90 bpm with 80%
correct notes. Individual members make and retain correct tuning adjustments in
warmups, Hymnsong of Philip Bliss, and Rampage 3 out of 4 times.
