HIPPY Program Information

HIPPY

Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY)


is an evidenced-based program that works with families in
the home to support parents in their critical role as their
child's first and most important teacher.

HIPPY Offers:
30 weeks of developmentally appropriate curriculum
Parenting skills
Socialization for parents and children through monthly
good meetings

The four main components of the HIPPY program are:


o Developmentally appropriate curriculum
o Role play (method of teaching)
o Coordinator and home visitors (staffing)
o Home visits and group meetings (service delivery
method)

To become a part of the HIPPY Program you must


have the following:
Have a child between the ages of 3 and 5
Live in Houston, Henry, Coffee, or Geneva
Counties

HIPPY Hours
Coordinator / Assistant Coordinators Hours:
Monday Friday 8am-4pm (Collins teaches on Tuesday)
Home Visitors- schedules changed based on case load
Office Hours M-F 9:00am-12pm, 1pm-3pm
