What is Interactive lecture?

A mixture of lecture and audiovisuals. The effectivity and efficiency of
the traditional approaches to teaching will depend on the instructors
creativity and resourcefulness.

Example of Interactive lecture:

Combination of lecture / discussion

Pathophysiology of the disease. The patient needs to know when and

where the diseases take place.

Film showing or videotape

Film showing of the procedure like giving post operative care to patient
who has just undergone chemo theraphy.

Board work

For students like writing a teaching plan or NCP for the post-op needs
of the patient which the group will discuss and class will react to or
make a critique of.

At the end, the students and the teacher alike enjoy the lively and
entertaining by the proper use of these audiovisuals and the lecture method.
