It is with great pleasure that I commend and recommend Marissa Dearman on the basis of her
Senior Project experience. I am an Assistant Principal in the SimiValley Unified School District
and I have had the opportunity to work with Ms. Dearman. I can confidently report that Marissa
would be a great asset to any strong program. She is hard-working, thoughtful, and above all, a
determined and dedicated student.

As part of her Senior Project at Santa Susana High School, Marissa set out to develop game
artwork in collaboration with another collaborator. Marissa did encounter some conflicts with her
collaborator, but this did not deter her. She sought out other resources, worked to develop
consensus around the project, and remained committed to her goal. She has the intelligence to
develop thoughtful solutions to issues she and her peers face, and the confidence to articulate
them to those who can help solve her issues.

I believe that Marissa Dearman will continue to excel in whatever context she finds herself.
