To whom it may concern,

I am interested in applying for middle school science teaching within your school district.
At the completion of my bachelors degree in May 2019, I will have had two years in
observing, co-teaching, and teaching at a sixth-grade level. I have had experience in
both charter and public schools, and schools that differ in demographics.

I believe that working with students in the middle school levels, I would be teaching the
ideas of STEM. Students at this age level should be encouraged to incorporate different
subjects in a science classroom, to demonstrate real-world problems. Allowing students
to problem solve and use resources to come up with their own solutions allows them to
grow in their ability to think deeper.

I have experience working with students using the engineering design process and
students are able to collaborate in groups, build communication skills, conduct research,
develop models, and make modifications if needed. These are skills that the students
are able to take with them to high school and their future careers.

My goal is to use my knowledge and experiences to push the students to brighter

futures. I am passionate, enthusiastic and will always contribute a positive environment
to the staff and students I work with. I welcome a follow up meeting for possible hire and
hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,

Sabrina Bandin
