CALIBRATION- FISHER WIZARDS (C1- PNUEMATIC CONTROLLER)

1. Check Pressure Range:

Set the AIR SUPPLY PRESSURE to 35psi

Adjust the PROPORTIONAL BAND to 100%.

Adjust SET POINT until the OUTPUT PRESSURE reached 30psi (or 15psi) with SIGNAL PRESSURE= 0

If the OUTPUT PRESSURE below 30 psi, adjust the NOZZLE height until you get the desired pressure.

Apply BOURDON TUBE NOMINAL PRESSURE with DWT.

Observe: The OUTPUT PRESSURE should drop to 6psi. (If not, then adjust NOZZLE BLOCK to left or right until it reached 6psi).
2. Check Set Point Adjustment:

Adjust the PROPORTIONAL BAND to 10% and SET POINT to 50% (estimate).

Apply 50% of BOURDON TUBE NOMINAL PRESSURE with DWT.

Observe: OUTPUT PRESSURE stabilize at 18psi (or 9psi). If it does not reach 18psi (or 9psi), adjust the nozzle height until you get your

desired OUTPUT PRESSURE.

Release DWT SIGNAL PRESSURE and move SET POINT towards 0.

 Observe:

OUTPUT PRESSURE shows 6psi (or 3psi) or less.

ACV moves fully open. Mark position of INDICATOR PLATE.

Apply BOURDON TUBE NOMINAL PRESSURE with DWT and move set point towards 100%

 Observe:

OUTPUT PRESSURE shows 30psi (or 15 psi) or more.

ACV moves fully close. Mark position of INDICATOR PLATE.

3. Check Proportional Band:

Adjust the PROPORTIONAL BAND to 25%.

Adjust SET POINT to give 30psi (or 15psi) OUTPUT PRESSURE.

Apply 25% of BOURDON TUBE NOMINAL PRESSURE with DWT.

Observe: OUTPUT PRESSURE drops to 6psi (or 3psi) or less.

Increase to 75% of BOURDON TUBE NOMINAL PRESSURE with DWT, after that adjust SET POINT to give 30psi (or 15psi) OUTPUT PRESSURE.

Increase to 100% of BOURDON TUBE NOMINAL PRESSURE with DWT.

Observe: OUTPUT PRESSURE drops to 6psi (or 3psi) or less.

4. Check Actuator Operation:

Cycle ACV several times by moving SET POINT.

Check that valve travel is smooth. (Upper and Lower limit remains according to the marked positions (2 ).
