CMU Club Dodgeball Ranked 2nd in Nation

CMU Club Dodgeball continues to be a top tier team in the league.

MT. PLEASANT, Mich. (Mar. 13, 2017) The experienced talent of CMU Club Dodgeball has
helped solidify Its spot as the second best team in the nation. It makes another run at the
national title on April 7.

The past two years CMU made it to the national title game. Many of the teams starting
15 players are beginning their third or fourth year on the team. Captains Zach Bachner and
Shane Willette are four-year players and second-year captains. CMU is relying on their
experienced leadership to guide it to a national title.

It has been six years since CMU has won the title. A former player Brett Hadwin said It
was one of the most amazing things Ive been a part of, He added I would love to see this
years team bring home the title to CMU where it belongs.

The success of the program is second to only Grand Valley. Grand Valley has back to
back to back titles in a hyper competitive college dodgeball league. CMU will get another shot
at the National title on April 7, when the tournament starts. If you want more information

CMU Club Dodgeball Nationals Fact Sheet

The National Collegiate Dodgeball Association, NCDA, sponsors an annual nation-wide

tournament. The event takes place April 7, the tournament will take all day.

What: National Club Dodgeball Tournament

When: April, 7.

Where: University of Kentucky

Who: 16 best teams in the nation, CMU dodgeball is one of them.

Why: Compete for the national Dodgeball Cup, a trophy.

Additional Info:
CMU is ranked second in the nation.

CMU has appeared in the last two national championship games.

The top 20 player on the team will travel to Kentucky, the top 15 play in the
tournament.
