PLC Meeting: 02/22/17

PE:
Right now we are letting students opt out of PE
o This doesnt work with what the state requires
Double PE for kids who dont finish out the season
o PE everyday
Contract Hours:
Making this flexible
o Teachers can set their hours for when they want to be at school and leave school
o We are not hourly, we are salary
We put in more than just a typical 8 hour day
Funding/Budget:
$5,000 grant money
o New probes for earth science and biology for carbon cycle stuff
o Squishy electricity probes
Allows students to create their own circuits and experiment with
conductors and insulators
o Electrophoresis plates
Running gels
o Power supplies
Adaptors for outlets DC current
