CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION

This study generally aims to determine the equilibrium constants of the different

solutions and to demonstrate how homogeneous equilibrium is attained.

In the experiment, accuracy should not be overlooked as it greatly contributes to the

data gathered. Based on the results, the researchers were able to prepare solutions that

attained homogeneous equilibrium and were able calculate the equilibrium constants of

different solutions through two trials. It can be seen that the computed equilibrium constants

were greater than one which means that the reaction shifted to the right.

This research is focused on homogeneous equilibria. In relation to the study done, a

recommendation to be as accurate as possible in performing the experiment especially in

titrating. The ambient pressure and temperature must be observed at all times. The solutions

must also be stirred occasionally during the whole week before titration to ensure that

equilibrium is attained. Another is that, for more precise results, the existence of bubbles or

trapped air inside the burette must be eliminated, for it will give an inaccurate data. For

broader future studies, the researchers recommend to use other reagents for liquid or as

additions to these liquids for comparable studies.
