Strengths of the lesson:
Started with a lovely review of previous learning. Great positive praise to
encourage the children very relaxed approach and calm manner with the
children.
Good pace to the lesson no learning time was wasted.
Nice mix of activities active learning in trios and groups. Good use of ICT
at the end of the lesson to promote collaboration and teamwork. Well
resourced.
Effective behavior management strategies employed to ensure that all
children are on task e.g. counting down 5, 4, 3, 2 etc and ensuring all
children are quiet and looking before continuing with instructions.
A really good lesson to watch well done Nouf!

Areas for development:


More visible differentiation in the activities could a challenge be added
for the higher ability children? Perhaps opportunity for an extension task.
Equally have the lower ability children been given enough resources and
support to complete the activity?
Ensure that your delivery of the instructions is clear so that all the children
understand what they need to do. Perhaps check understanding by asking
a child to repeat the instructions to the class.
