The day of the performance and the day I fully achieve my PDP goal was here, I was

closer to the students and they were more comfortable with me, so I greeted them that morning

after meeting my MCT. I chatted with them slightly to hype them up for the performance whilst

they were in the indoor play area, then went to talk to my MST about how my phone got ruined

and that she can contact me through a different number. I asked my colleague to borrow her

phone to take pictures of me teaching the students the dance, which Miss Katherine later took

pictures of me whilst I was practicing with my students. I noticed that the students showed the

2
dance with a few different moves I didn't recognize, my MST then explained that she had

forgotten the dance and so she changed it a bit. I believe the dance she taught them as too

complex for four year olds, she had them turn and then turn clockwise and with different moves.

I then saw how she did it and followed along with her, some students followed along, some were

too excited to see their mothers, and some had barely attended so they didn't even know the

dance. These were the students I focused most on whilst dancing with them I had to sit in front

of them on the floor to have them follow along with me, and I would constantly call their names

whilst dancing when I see that they were spacing out or losing focus. I wasn't sure how the

dance would turn out, so I told the students that I would be standing behind the parents and they

could see me dance if they forgot a step and to enjoy themselves and remember to smile and

point at their mothers during the dance. The dance wasn't as good as I wanted it to be, but it was

good enough with a one week notice. Some of the students parents didn't come, this upset me,

mothers should always be here for the students, growing up the students will remember this

moment and how their mothers didn't show up to their performance whilst everyone else was

hugging their mothers. So I gathered the students and went to play legos with them and took

pictures with them to make them feel supported. After almost all the students left, except the

three, Miss Katherine had me decorate the walls with her of the students' work. By the time we

finished off 3 walls, it was home time and the students had all left, I discussed my future lessons

with my MST and left.
