Letter of Recommendation

To whom it may concern,

It is with great pleasure and confidence that I write this recommendation letter for Nida Irfa
Junaidah. I have been working with Nida since 2015.
Learn for the Future is an NGO focusing on helping disadvantaged, underrepresented
Indonesians learn international standardized tests, such as TOEFL, and English skills. The
purpose is to bridge the gap between the widely available educational opportunities and those
who live in disadvantaged conditions.
It is our primary concern that only those who have been enjoying privileges are able to apply for
scholarships, either for degree or exchange programs; on the other side, disadvantaged or
underrepresented people and groups are unable to apply for such opportunities because they
simply cannot fulfill the requirements, such as TOEFL and English proficiency.
To achieve our purpose, we design a particular educational system that utilizes social media,
including Blog, Facebook, and WhatsApp. So far, we have more than ten thousand students with
different backgrounds and live in Indonesia and foreign countries. Some of our students have
won degree scholarships to study overseas and in Indonesia and exchange programs overseas and
in Indonesia.
Nida is a Mentor Assistant in our NGO. She is required to be able to respond to any students
questions regarding the learning materials as well as find some additional learning material
resources in order to help students understand more. In our NGO, only those who have good
English proficiency can work as a Mentor Assistant since she/he will be the second key person,
other than the mentor, for students to ask questions.
Unlike others who seek for paid opportunities, Nida voluntarily dedicates some of her time every
day to help others and she has done it for more than a year. I have no words to describe her
dedication in our NGO and in helping others. Besides, she has academic majors in education and
a lot of experiences in dealing with educational issues.
I believe that Nida will be one of those who can carry out the purpose of your scholarship
program. I strongly recommend her to be one of the scholarship recipients.
