I am Zakiah Syahidah, graduated from high school majoring in natural sciences. Since I was in school I am very
interested in studying the health sector, this was supported by my passion for helping people so I chose a nurse
to be my goal. Becoming a Nurse means choosing to be a long-life learner, a consequence that raises an
interesting challenge for me. Finally, 'Long-life Learner' became the motto in my life. It also motivates me to
continue to grow and develop myself. I have always believed that self-development is not enough in the
classroom. Therefore since high school, I have been involved in several organizations, extracurriculars, events,
and other volunteer activities. For instance, the closest project I have ever made is holding an event called
SPIRAL at the end of 2021. SPIRAL is a collaborative project that supports SDGs point 4, namely “Quality of
Education.” we have repaired libraries and held inspirational classes and literacy activities in rural schools. I am
very thankful for joining these extracurricular activities because they can improve my soft-skill indirectly. I got
more thorough in analyzing, working under pressure, and growing my discipline, leadership, and public
speaking, besides that my empathy is more developed by helping others. These academic and social
experiences that I have, are greatly useful for my education in Nursing school. Turkey became one of the best
study destinations for me. Especially in nursing school. The modern school of nursing was born by a famous
Turkish nurse named Florence Nightingale, this is one of the reasons I chose Turkey. Besides that, Turkey has
a high quality of education supported by the Turkish government prioritizes education. It can be proven by this
Turkiye Burslari Scholarship and the publication of his scientific journal. The Turkish government has opened
wide doors for foreign students from 178 countries to study in Turkey, which has opened the gates for me to
meet many of the best international students from all over the world then I can learn many new things. The
Turkiye Burslari Scholarship also encourages me to have a better quality of education, helps me improve my
knowledge in my career, and helps me later to develop in ways that I’ve never had before. I believe studying in
Turkey will not limit my potential, but instead encourage me to achieve success in life in a positive way. I have
a big plan to become a Nurse with international standard skills, conduct research and publish journals with the
best professors, dig deeper into medical theory, and apply it to clinical problems. Hence, I was eager to learn
more in Turkey from their journal which is always enhancing, and join discussion groups led by experienced
professors. In the future, the extraordinary knowledge and experience that I will gain if I succeed in getting a
scholarship will be very influential and help me to achieve my goals as a Nurse.

I am the type of person who has a high curiosity, especially in the health sector. I am interested in the

interrelationships in medicine. How things learned in one area can help in finding solutions in another. I want to
know everything, and it feels very satisfying to apply my knowledge to clinical problems. It truly challenged my
problem-solving skills. I am aware that the medical world is a rapidly changing world, a person will be required
to accomplish many things at the same time, it is an attractive challenge for me to constantly improve my skills
in time and problem management also bring out the value of collaboration. That’s all, is a skill that I have
always developed since high school. Today, people deserve a Nurse who has keenly, constantly exploring new
advances in medicine. They deserve someone who loves problem-solving challenges and coming up with
innovative solutions. I want to be that Nurse . I want to be able to treat each case as a unique entity and
combine my strengths in providing customized care for my patients in the future. I recognize that the practice of
medicine is not a personal pursuit but a collaborative dedication to creating a vision that combines innovation in
healthcare with technological developments. I want more expertise to help patients and be more valuable in the
healthcare sector. I believe Nursing school is the path that will help me achieve my goal of becoming a Nurse
with a good attitude and an inspiring Nurse.

Information on Hobbies

"Books are the gates of the world and reading is the key" That was indeed true when I started getting to know
reading. The more I read, the more I thought, I studied, and realized that I knew nothing. And now reading is not
just a hobby for me, but a daily obligation. I also like biology. Biology is a passion and motivation to continue my
studies, especially in the medical field. I also enjoy learning foreign languages because I believe that learning
another language is not learning a different word for the same thing, but rather learning a different way of thinking
about things. Basketball became my hobby too, I pursued this hobby by joining the basketball club at school. The
things I get from developing my hobby are analytical skills, persistence, consistency, time management,
communication, agility, accuracy, leadership, quick thinking in tactics, and so on. At least that's what will really
support me in continuing my studies to become a student of nursing later.

Since I was in junior high school, I really liked photos, so since then I have tried to practice photography with
makeshift equipment. From photography I learned that there is a unique way to see the world as well as to give a
new awareness of all the beauty that is around us. For me, learning photography is actually learning to know
yourself and then transferring the ideas that arise into the form of images. That became one of my basics in
learning, binding memories in visual form. I also learned a lot from basketball which I studied in high school. The
coaches not only taught me basketball techniques and physical teaching. But more than that, which is very
supportive for all other aspects. From basketball I learned about teamwork, speed in thinking and tactics, accuracy,
communication, consistency and others. After graduating from high school, I started studying quantitative data
analysis. I used to work freelance with my mother in this field. This ability is needed in the future.

REMAIN Foundation Starting from seeking donations to channeling donations to targets. The program that has been

MUSLIMAIESHA Organization and religious fields, and we named this community Muslimaiesha which means Muslim helper.
ORGANIZATION The programs that have been carried out are social services, skills training, webinars, and others.
Being an activist in this organization helps me in developing various skills, such as empathy,
critical thinking, public speaking, teamwork. All of that is very useful for my study period in the
next stage.
