Letter of Intent

I was a mathematics student in bachelor degree. Since I was kindergarten my teacher told me that my ability is about
math because in this age I can count fastly than other students and I can remember multiplication. Since this, I believe
that I must explore my ability in Math. I joined mathematics club in my next schools. At 2012 I got a chance to join math
olympiad and I got the 1st place. After this, my math carrier increase. In national test, I just got 2 wrong (from 40
questions) for math subject. At 2017 my lecturer chose me to be coordinator of Math Problem Maker of Riau Olympiad
17. This event is one of the biggest Math Olympiad in Riau. I also joined HIMAPENTIKA (Math Student Organization). I
took leader of Berau Intellectual for the first year and Social and Community Division for the second year. We did
volunteer’s activities to intellect the nation and help social activities in real life. For the example teaching voluntary in
the rural school every weeks, made free little libraries for public, free mathematics course every saturday and sunday
for students. I was the best graduate of math department program 2018 with 3.69 GPA. 2 weeks after my graduation,
Senior High School Binaan Khusus Dumai took me as Mathematics Teacher for XII Natural Science class and
Supervising Math Olympiad. I taught was about 6 months and my 2 math olympiad students won 2 medals in city. I
moved to Turkey since July 2019, I and my friends formed an organization in Ankara. This organization consists of
Indonesian Gelin in Ankara. Until now this organization has been recognized by the Indonesian Embassy in Turkey. I
am the coordinator of the media and documentation division. My missions are creating the GIA logo, letterhead, admin
of a GIA social media accounts, spread invitations to GIA events etc. Why I choose Turkey for my master because I
wanna prove to people that Gelin can build good carrier, not only be a house wife. Gelin can continue their education
up to the highest level, women can be a carrier person and good wife and mom at the same time. I dont want people
see that Gelin can’t do anything in Turkey. Another reasons why I choose Turkey are internationalization of Turkish
universities is one of the incentive efforts to standardize higher quality. The expansion of higher education capacity in
Turkey has also become an integral part of Turkey's ability to welcome more international students. After completing
my master in Turkey, it becomes an obligation for me to build my country, especially my rural city in Riau Province. One
of ways to achieve it is becoming a lecturer and volunteer professor for math teachers in rural schools. One of my
dream is to develop Math Olympiad in the countryside so that the Olympiad’s winners aren't just from big cities. I also
want to be the first person from my city who can introduce all about Turkish and teaching turkish language.

Computer-based Interactive Application for Visualizing Multivariable Calculus Subject


2- Working Title (Up to 15 words)(Please write in short and concise terms the title of your work as a thesis or an article title.)

This research aimed to develop a valid computer-based interactive application to ease people to understand about
multivariable calculus subject. In computer science, interactive computing refers to software which accepts input from
the user as it runs. Interactive software includes commonly used programs, such as word processor or spreadsheet

applications. By comparison, non-interactive programs operate without user intervention; examples of these include
compilers and batch processing that are pre-programmed to run independently. Interactive computing focuses on
realtime interaction ("dialog") between the computer and the operator, and the technologies that enable them. If the
response of the computer system is complex enough, it is said that the system is conducting social interaction; some
systems try to achieve this through the implementation of social interfaces. The nature of interactive computing as well
as its impact on users, are studied extensively in the field of computer interaction. Multivariable calculus (also known
as multivariate calculus) is the extension of calculus in one variable to calculus with functions of several variables: the

as multivariate calculus) is the extension of calculus in one variable to calculus with functions of several variables: the
differentiation and integration of functions involving several variables, rather than just one. Multivariable calculus is
used in many fields of natural and social science and engineerig to model and study high-dimensional systems that
exhibit deterministic behavior. In economics, for example, consumer choice over a variety of goods, and producer
choice over various inputs to use and outputs to produce, are modeled with multivariate calculus. Quantitive analysts in
finance also often use multivariate calculus to predict future trends in the stock market.

Research method of this study is R&D/Research and Development by Borg and Gall. Research and Development is a
powerful strategy for improving practice. They are as follows: step 1 involves research and information collecting or
need analysis. It includes review of literature, observations, and preparation of report of state. Step 2 and 3 consists of
planning and develop preliminary form of product. Planning includes defining skills, stating objectives determining
course sequence, and small scale feasibility testing. Then step 4 involves preliminary field testing. It concludes
interview, questionnaire data collected and analyzed. For step 5 and 6 conduct main product revision and main field
testing. Main product revision uses quantitative data on subjects’ course as evaluation. Operational product revision is
happened in step 7, revision of product as suggested by main field-test result. Next, for step 8 and 9 involve
operational field testing and final product revision. And the last step or step 10 involves dissemination and
implementation. It is a report on product at professional meeting and journals. Work with publisher who assumes
commercial distribution. Monitor distribution to provide quality control.

The academic contribution for my mathematics master are to analysts and intellectuals, this study may mean the
generalizations of new application, the development of new styles and creative work, the outlet for new ideas and
insights of mathematics graduate program and to help the mankind in solving the problems faced from time to time and
make life more comfortable and entertaining (teaching of multivariable calculus, consumer choice over a variety of
goods and producer choice over various inputs to use and outputs to produce)

I reached 100.000 subscribers for my Youtube Channel, 'Kcbs Journey'. My channel is about İndonesian and Turkish
traditionals like How Turkish country look like, 4 weathers in Turkey, Public transportation, Turkish history place, Eid in
Turkey, Turkish foods, Turkish dance, Turkish marriage traditionals and so on. Net Mediatama TV (One of the biggest
TV Channel in İndonesia) contracted my YouTube channel for 2 years to broadcast on Indonesian TV. Program's name
is Happy Diary from Turkey. The goal is to show Indonesian people about Turkish culture and life in Turkey.
